Dead Flies or Ants

We are already six days into a new year. Global warming, football, recession conversation and a national healthcare package, taxes are just some of the topics that seem to be preimminent in people's thinking. Those topics sure have swirled around in my head! However, one story I found especially interesting. It seems that someone ordered a breakfast burrito at a well know fast food restaurant only to find dead ants after he had consumed much of the burrito. He wanted an explanation and especially an apology locally and corporately. So far nothing significant has transpired. "Dead flies can make a whole bottle of perfume stink, and a little stupidity can cancel out the greatest wisdom." Proverbs 10:1, Good News Bible. How diffficult can an apology be? I never cease to be amazed at stupidity that is not only uncalled for, but seems to be growing! That is not to say that I haven't had my moments of stupidity as well. Admit and improve is the best route to follow. Join me in making needed improvements personally, socially, and spiritually in 2010. Pastor John
